Frequently Asked Questions

You can self-register for training from your Account Dashboard. See this help article for details.
How do I change the name on the certificate?
Contact us to change the name on your training profile. This must be done prior to the course being completed.
How long is the training?
On average, our users complete the course in about 90 minutes.
How do I get my certificate?
On completion of the course, your certificate will automatically be available in your training account.
How long do I have to complete the training? How long do I have access?
You have access to the course until the end of the calendar year of the date purchased or the end of the calendar year specified in the course name (whichever is later). However, we recommend completing the training as soon as possible. Note that OSHA requires training within 10 days of hire for new employees.
How long is the certification good for?
The certification is good for 12 months from the date of issuance.
What happens if I fail a quiz?
There's no penalty for failing a quiz. You simply re-attempt the quiz until you pass. The purpose of the quiz is to reinforce learning.
Is this training good for all states?
Yes, except California and Washington. For those states, select either the Cal/OSHA or WISHA OSHA training from the dropdown options above.
What if I need to train multiple people?
You’ll need to purchase a training seat for each person needing training.
How does the manager role work?
For organizations, we are able to designate a user as group manager. This person has the ability to switch between "learner" and "manager" in their training account. In the manager role, they can view group progress, pass/fail status, generate and export reports, and download certificates.
What is the difference between the Doc Kit and the Manual?
The Documentation Kit contains the mandatory OSHA policies and requires customization. The Manual is your reference guide and assists you in customizing your Doc Kit. No customization is needed for the Manual.
Do you have samples?
You can download a sample including table of contents for the Manual and Documentation Kit here. A demo of the online training is available here and demo video is available in the image carousel.
