Hello Kate, Yes, the front office staff including receptionists must be OSHA trained as well. However, if they are not exposed to bloodborne pathogens (BBP) and hazardous chemicals, they do not have to go through the BBP and Hazard Communication training. There are general industry standards that the front office staff must become familiar. OSHA's workplace violence prevention, electrical and fire prevention, means of egress, emergency action plan, etc. are some of the regulatory standards that the front office personnel must know well.
