Osha Coverage

OSHA compliance for a veterinary facility covers two major elements: training and record keeping. Extensive coverage of OSHA standards relevant to veterinary office training has been included in our manual (refer the list below). Veterinary facilities are exempt from some of the provisions of the Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Standard when employees are not exposed to human blood. However, OSHA recommends voluntary compliance of all other provisions of the BBP standard. Veterinary employers must comply with chemical hazard communication standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) that is one of the important standards (most OSHA fines at vet facilities occur under this standard). Record keeping forms, biohazard and GHS labels, federal and state posters are some of the materials that will be included with the package. Order Now
